Hi. My name is Patrick Stanton. I recently moved home to Louisiana after spending the last six years in California working as a human osteologist and project director for a local CRM firm. I have extensive experience in the identification and recovery of human remains from all contexts including archaeological and forensic. I have personally recovered or supervised the recover of several hundred burials. During my time with this company, I also gained experience in archaeological survey and hand mapping methods as well as excavation. Furthermore, I am adept at researching topics and writing so if you need a library grunt. My current availablity is after 2pm Tues and Thursday and any time during Wed, Sat, and Sun. Kate Loechelt Honeycutt Kathryn dot Honeycutt at La dot GOV I was an anthropology major at LSU. Had a baby. Got a real job. Participated in one dig at Ashland Plantation as a student at LSU. Youngest child now a teen and would love to follow my own interests again. Am available to participate on weekends hopefully. My true talent is scoping out snakes so that I can avoid them!
Charles Franklin Linton I'm a well educated amateur historian field worker in peak fitness with high energy. I'm highly skilled in metal detecting and geologic observations. Inspired by linage to the Creek Tribe, Edgar Cacey's readings on the people termed the Mound Builders. Much can be discovered if efficient searching and surveying can be done. Sophie Giroir Since childhood I have been very interested in the study of ancient history, cultural and physical anthropology, and archaeology. I'm very happy to lend a helping hand with dig sites and the such. I'm available on Saturdays and Sundays. I do need advance notice as I am a working mom but will do all I can to make myself available for these opportunities.
Barbara Morgan I am a physician nearing retirement, have always been interested in history and archaeology, and would like to work on excavations, digs, cataloging, etc. Will travel. Available on FRI, SAT, SUN for now.
Callie L. Thevenot I am a graduating senior in Anthropology at LSU this fall. I plan on doing my masters in Archaeology beginning next fall, in the Netherlands. This past summer I participated in a field school in Morganza, LA. I'd like to get some more experience in all areas of Archaeology before grad school. Please call me!! I want to help. ;)
Ramona Bivens I'm an elementary school teacher and live near the New Orleans area. I have a Bachelor's from LSU in General Studies with an emphasis in anthropology. I'd love to do volunteer work in the summers.

Most recently I worked with a team from the University of Chicago on a shovel test at the Pitot House in New Orleans. I am meticulous and hard-working, and I enjoy all aspects of working in the field and in the lab.

I am planning to get my masters in Anthropology and Archaeology. Our Geography group have been working on a project in Arizona and New Mexico (the four corners) documenting the Anasazi Indian's pictograms and petroglyphs. The project only allows for us to spend two weeks a year in the field. Therefore, I am itching to get my hands dirty with more projects in this area. I am willing to volunteer for ANYTHING!

I am a junior and am going to pursue a secondary degree in archaeology. My professor Dr. C. Wade Meade has gotten me interested in Archaeology and I am seeking to find any volunteer or paid work in northern Louisiana. I have been very interested in the site at poverty point and have been pursuing a chance to work at the site. I have extensive background with Etruscan, Roman, and Egyptian archaeology though none has to deal with Louisiana.
